Welcome to the Turkish Cafe

The two Turkish Cafes are located in the hearts of Newmarket and Ponsonby, and over the years have become something of an Auckland tradition. We are known for serving fresh, wholesome, good-value food - available for dine-in and takeaway. Our menu is inspired by Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine with a strong Turkish influence. We have plenty of vegetarian and some gluten-free options, and meals for people watching their weight. We take care to serve halal meat.

We have a lot of regular customers, so we must be doing something right!

Our friendly, professional team aim to create a relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy your meal - and to ensure you'd like to come back!

Come and see us after work, or on your way to the cinema. Enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail, or try a bottle of Turkish Efes beer for a change.

Our cafes are family-friendly, offering a special children's menu, and a regular colouring competition in Newmarket.

The Turkish Cafes are ideal venues for parties and group functions. Ask for a copy of our set menus or we can tailor a menu to suit your tastes and the occasion you're celebrating. If you'd like a belly dancer to entertain your group, we can organise that for you at an affordable price. (View the photo gallery from our last Belly-Dancing Extravaganza in July.)

We look forward to seeing you at the Cafes!
