Newmarket

The Turkish Café in Newmarket is located at 80 Broadway, and has been operating there since the late 1990's. In that time, the Café has built up a solid reputation as one of Auckland's leading cultural restaurants, offering a range of good value Mediterranean and Turkish dishes. We are open all day, offering brunch (till 4pm), lunch, dinner and everything in between.

Our wood-fired oven produces some of Auckland's best gourmet pizzas (made from scratch in our kitchen) and home-made breads. 

You can experience the fantastic atmosphere of the Café inside, where there is a selection of large tables as well as more intimate seating arrangements. Alternatively, you can enjoy the covered outside dining area which is equipped with shade sails for summer, and heaters for the cooler months.  Nina, Matt and the rest of the front-of-house team will make sure you are looked after. Our chef, Girla (pronounced 'Jerla'), and her team love to cook for you.

Situated directly opposite the Sky City Cinema complex and the Olympic Pool & Gym and adjacent to The Warehouse, the Turkish Cafe is the perfect place to have a bite to eat before the movies, after your work-out, or to rest your aching feet during a shopping spree. For companies based in the Newmarket area, the Café is a great place to enjoy a relaxed lunch or dinner with clients or colleagues, or for a work function. The Café is also perfect for your day-time business meeting and many of our regulars bring their laptops to catch up with some work over one of our great coffees and snacks.

Families are very welcome - we have a special children's menu and a regular colouring competition for them with monthly prizes.

Parking is available in the pay-and-display car park right outside the cafe.
